Pronunciation

Walri has many advantages over walruses; it is way easier to pronounce as wal-ri has only 2 syllables whilst wal-ru-ses has 3, yes, you heard it THREE, syllables which is heresy. And additionally walri has a way smoother pronunciation than walruses, try it out for yourself!

The dark origin of walruses.

Many say that the plural of walrus is walruses because the word is of Germanic origin and should follow the 'standard' rule of '+ (e)s'. Walruses is presumed to be of Dutch origin, so it could be logical for the plural to be walruses, however walruses is actually a insult invented by the Dutch during the Walrus-Dutch war of 1848. And the fact that the plural of walrus is actually a insult to such perfect creatures is unacceptable.

The solution.
